MLB Ejection 173: James Hoye (5; Jose Oquendo)

HP Umpire James Hoye ejected Cardinals 3B Coach Jose Oquendo for Unsportsmanlike-NEC in the bottom of the 3rd inning of the Pirates-Cardinals game. Following the conclusion of the third inning, Oquendo exchanged words with Hoye and, after Oquendo failed to return to the first-base dugout, he was ejected, the call was irrecusable. At the time of the ejection, the game was tied, 2-2. The Cardinals ultimately won the contest, 6-4.

This is James Hoye (92)'s fifth ejection of the 2014 season.
