MLB Ejection 123: Andy Fletcher (2; Jake Diekman)

HP Umpire Andy Fletcher ejected Phillies P Jake Diekman for arguing balls and strikes in the top of the 10th inning of the Nationals-Phillies game. While walking off the mound following the top of the 10th, Diekman and Fletcher became engaged in a discussion during which Diekman was ejected for arguing the strike zone. Replays indicate Fletcher called Diekman's inning of work with 84.2% accuracy (11/14 Balls + 5/5 Called Strikes = 16/19 Callable Pitches), the call was correct.* At the time of the ejection, the Nationals were leading, 5-3. The Nationals ultimately won the contest, 5-3, in 10 innings.

This is Andy Fletcher (49)'s second of the 2014 MLB Regular Season.
Andy Fletcher now has 8 points in the UEFL Standings (4 Previous + 2 MLB + 2 Correct Call = 8).
Crew Chief Mike Winters now has -4 points in Crew Division (-5 Prev + 1 Correct Call = -4).
*A Balls/Strikes Exemption has been applied. Pursuant to UEFL Rule 6-5-d, Fletcher's pitcher-specific accuracy was above the threshold level of 66%; therefore, the call was correct.

This is the 123rd ejection of the 2014 MLB Regular Season.
This is the 52nd player ejection of 2014. Prior to ejection, Diekman's line was 1.0 IP, 2 ER.
This is the Phillies' 4th ejection of 2014, 3rd in the NL East (ATL 6; NYM 5; PHI 4; MIA 3; WAS 1).
This is Jake Diekman's first career MLB ejection.
This is Andy Fletcher's first ejection since July 9, 2014 (Rick Renteria; QOC = Y [Fair/Foul]).
