MLB Instant Replay Review S-27: Tripp Gibson (S-3)

Instant replay affirmed 1B Umpire Tripp Gibson's out call in the top of the 4th inning of the Cubs-Mariners game. With one out and none on, Cubs batter Ryan Kalish hit a 3-1 cutter from Mariners Randy Wolf pitcher to shortstop Brad Miller, who threw to first baseman Justin Smoak as Kalish arrived at first base.
