MLB Ejection 071: Jerry Meals (1; Anthony Rizzo)

HP Umpire Jerry Meals ejected Cubs 1B Anthony Rizzo for arguing a strike three call in the top of the 4th inning of the Cubs-Brewers game. With none out and one on, Rizzo took three consecutive pitches from Brewers pitcher Kyle Lohse for called first, second and third strikes. Replays indicate the second called strike was located over the outer half of home plate and below the hollow of the knee (px -.681, pz 1.493 / sz_bot 1.730), the call was incorrect. At the time of the ejection, the Brewers were leading, 8-0. The Brewers ultimately won the contest, 9-0.
