MLB Instant Replay Review 658: Clint Fagan (12)

Instant Replay Review upheld HP Umpire Clint Fagan's Rule 7.13 violation no-call (out) in the top of the 4th inning of the Marlins-Cardinals game. With one out and two on, Marlins batter Andrew Heavney bunted a ground ball to Cardinals pitcher Shelby Miller, who threw to catcher Yadier Molina as Marlins baserunner R3 Marcell Ozuna slid into home plate. Upon Replay Review as the result of a request by Marlins Manager Mike Redmond and initiation by Crew Chief Tim Welke, Fagan's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the game was tied, 1-1. The Marlins ultimately won the contest, 6-5.
