Instant Replay Review upheld 3B Umpire Bob Davidson's safe call in the top of the 10th inning of the Giants-Padres game. With none out and none on, Giants batter Buster Posey hit a line drive to Padres center fielder Cameron Maybin, who threw to second baseman Irving Falu as Posey slid into second base. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Padres Manager Bud Black, Davidson's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Giants were leading, 5-3. The Giants ultimately won the contest, 5-3, in 10 innings.
