HP Umpire Dan Iassogna ejected Angels RF Jo Adell (pitch clock violation/automated strike; QOCY) in the bottom of the 4th inning of the #Dodgers-#Angels game. With none out and none on, Iassogna called a pitch timer violation on Adell for failing to be in the batter's box and alert to the pitcher by eight-seconds remaining on the pitch timer. Replays indicate Adell was not looking at Dodgers pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto at or under the eight-second mark, the call was correct. At the time of the ejection, the Angels were leading, 2-0. The Angels ultimately won the contest, 7-4.
