HP Umpire Todd Tichenor ejected Rangers hitting coach Justin Viele and manager Skip Schumaker (strike three call to Nicky Lopez; QOCY) in the top of the 7th inning of the #Rangers-#Astros game. With two out and two on, Lopez took a 3-2 slider from Astros pitcher Bryan Abreu for a called third strike. The Rangers had lost both ABS challenges earlier in the game. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the inner half of home plate and at the hollow beneath the knee (px 0.21, pz 1.46 [sz_bot 1.58 / RAD 1.46]), the call was correct.* At the time of the ejection, the game was tied, 3-3. The Astros ultimately won the contest, 7-3.
