With two out and two on, Reds batter Eugenio Suarez attempted to check his swing on a 2-2 sweeper from Giants pitcher Logan Webb, ruled a ball by HP Umpire Blakney and affirmed as no swing on appeal by 1B Umpire May. At the time of the ejection, the game was tied, 0-0. The Reds ultimately won the contest, 10-9.
