2B Umpire Brennan Miller ejected Yankees manager Aaron Boone (out/catch call by 3B Umpire Ben May; QOCY) in the bottom of the 7th inning of the #BlueJays-#Yankees game. With two out and one on, Yankees batter Jazz Chisholm hit a 1-1 sweeper from Blue Jays pitcher Mason Fluharty on a line drive to center fielder Daulton Varsho, who dove in an attempt to catch the batted ball, ruled an out by 3B Umpire May. Replays indicate the fielder appeared to control the ball in his glove, the call was correct.* At the time of the ejection, the Yankees were leading, 5-3. The Yankees ultimately won the contest, 5-4.
