With one out and two on, with Xander Bogaerts at bat, Diamondbacks pitcher Cabrera was called for a balk, advancing baserunner Fernando Tatis to 3B and Jackson Merrill to 2B. Replays indicate Cabrera failed to step toward second base before throwing to the base, the call was correct.* At the time of the ejection, the Padres were leading, 2-1. The Padres ultimately won the contest, 10-4.
