MLB Ejection 168: Doug Eddings (4; Fredi Gonzalez)

HP Umpire Doug Eddings ejected Braves Manager Fredi Gonzalez for arguing a ball two call in the bottom of the 3rd inning of the Braves-Cubs game. With one out and two on, Cubs batter Chris Coghlan took a 1-0 fastball from Braves pitcher Mike Foltynewicz for a called second ball. Replays indicate the pitch was located off the outer edge of home plate and belt high (px -1.227, pz 2.255) while the preceding pitch ruled ball one was located at the ankles (pz .837 [sz_bot 1.510]), the call was correct. At the time of the ejection, the game was tied, 0-0. The Cubs ultimately won the contest, 7-1.
