MLB Ejections 008-9 - Vic Carapazza (ATL-LAA Fight)

1B Umpire Vic Carapazza ejected Braves pitcher Reynaldo López and Angels DH Jorge Soler (fighting) in the bottom of the 5th inning of the #Braves-#Angels game. With two out and one on, Angels batter Jorge Soler took a 0-0 fastball for a called first ball, precipitating a benches-clearing brawl. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the inner half of home plate and above the batter's head, the call was irrecusable. At the time of the ejections, the Braves were leading, 4-2. The Braves ultimately won the contest, 7-2.
