MLB Ejection 064 - Bruce Dreckman (2; James Rowson)

HP Umpire Bruce Dreckman ejected Yankees hitting coach James Rowson (strike one call to Jasson Domínguez; QOCN) in the bottom of the 4th inning of the #RedSox-#Yankees game. With none out and one on, Yankees batter Domínguez took a 1-0 fastball from Red Sox pitcher Garrett Crochet for a called first strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located off the outer edge of home plate and belt-high (px 0.92, pz 2.74), the call was incorrect.* At the time of the ejection, the Red Sox were leading, 8-3. The Red Sox ultimately won the contest, 10-7.

MLB Ejections 137-8 - Tripp Gibson (3-4; NYY x2)

HP Umpire Tripp Gibson ejected Yankees manager Aaron Boone (strike three call to Austin Wells; QOCY) and hitting coach James Rowson (strike one call to Giancarlo Stanton; QOCN) in the bottom of the 7th inning of the #BlueJays-#Yankees game. With none out and one on, Yankees batter Wells took a 2-2 fastball from Blue Jays pitcher Genesis Cabrera for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over outer half of home plate and at the hollow of the knee (px -0.48, pz 1.49 [sz_bot 1.57 / RAD 1.45), the call was correct. On the very next pitch, Yankees batter Giancarlo Stanton took a strike one call located over the inner half of home plate and below the hollow of the knee (px -0.34, pz 1.36 [sz_bot 1.67 / RAD 1.55 / MOE 1.47]), the call was incorrect. At the time of all ejections, the Yankees were leading, 3-2. The Yankees ultimately won the contest, 4-3, in 10 innings.

Replays indicate the pitch was located over the outer edge of home plate and at the hollow of the knee (px -0.71, pz 1.48 [sz_bot 1.51 / RAD 1.39]), the call was correct.* At the time of the ejection, the Orioles were leading, 7-2. The Orioles ultimately won the contest, 7-2.

In the 8th, with two out and none on, Yankees batter Luke Voit took a 3-2 slider from Twins pitcher Tyler Duffey for a called fourth ball. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the outer half of home plate and below the hollow of the knee (px 0.60, pz 1.71 [sz_bot 1.88 {raw/unprocessed sz_bot 1.75}]) and that all pitches during the at-bat were properly officiated, the call was correct.* At the time of Baldelli's ejection, the Twins were leading, 9-8.

In the 9th, with none out and none on, Twins batter Ehire Adrianza took a 2-0 fastball from Yankees pitcher Aroldis Chapman for a called first strike.
