MLB Ejection 190: Gary Cederstrom (1; Miguel Cabrera)

3B Umpire Gary Cederstrom ejected Tigers 1B Miguel Cabrera for arguing a strike three call by HP Umpire Quinn Wolcott in the top of the 4th inning of the Tigers-Royals game. With none out and none on, Cabrera took a 3-2 fastball from Royals pitcher Yordano Ventura for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the inner half of home plate and below the midpoint (px -.57, pz 3.41 [sz_top 3.48]) (the first pitch of the at-bat referred to was properly officiated as a strike as well), the call was correct. At the time of the ejection, the Royals were leading, 4-0. The Royals ultimately won the contest, 12-1.
