MLB Ejection 027: Alan Porter (2; Rick Renteria)

HP Umpire Alan Porter ejected Cubs Manager Rick Renteria for arguing a ball three call in the bottom of the 6th inning of the Cubs-Reds game. With two out and two on, Reds batter Joey Votto took a 2-2 fastball from Cubs pitcher Zac Rosscup for a called third ball. Replays indicate the pitch was located off the outer edge of home plate and thigh high (px -1.174, pz 2.707) and that all other pitches during the at-bat were properly officiated (B1: px -1.737, B2: px -1.305), the call was correct. At the time of the ejection, the Reds were leading, 3-2. The Reds ultimately won the contest, 3-2.
