MLB Ejection 167 - David Rackley (3; Mike Scioscia)

HP Umpire David Rackley ejected Angels Manager Mike Scioscia (ball four call; QOCY) in the bottom of the 4th inning of the Angels-Mariners game. With one out and two on (R1, R2), Mariners batter Mitch Haniger took a 2-2 slider from Angels pitcher Jesse Chavez for a called third ball before singling on the next pitch. Replays indicate the pitch was located off the outer edge of home plate and waist-high (px .809, pz 2.901), the call was correct.*^ At the time of the ejection, the Mariners were leading, 3-0. The Mariners ultimately won the contest, 8-1.
