MLB Ejection 37 - Clint Vondrak (1; Joe Maddon)

HP Umpire Clint Vondrak ejected Angels Manager Joe Maddon (strike three call; QOCN) in the top of the 6th inning of the #Angels-#Astros game. With none out and two on (R1, R2), Angels batter Shohei Ohtani took a 3-2 fastball from Astros pitcher Blake Taylor for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the outer edge of home plate and below the hollow of the knee (px -0.89, pz 1.36 [sz_bot 1.59 / RAD 1.47 / MOE 1.38]), the call was incorrect.* At the time of the ejection, the Angels were leading, 8-4. The Angels ultimately won the contest, 12-5.
