MLB Ejection 052 - Brock Ballou (1; Bob Melvin)

HP Umpire Brock Ballou ejected Padres manager Bob Melvin (strike one call to Fernando Tatis; QOCN) in the top of the 8th inning of the #Padres-#Twins game. With none out and none on, Tatis took a 1-0 cutter from Twins pitcher Brock Stewart for a called first strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the heart of home plate and below the hollow of the knee (px 0.27, pz 1.54 [sz_bot 1.78 / RAD 1.66 / MOE 1.58), the call was incorrect.* At the time of the ejection, the Twins were leading, 5-3. The Twins ultimately won the contest, 5-3.
