HP Umpire Marvin Hudson ejected Astros pitcher Bryan Abreu (throwing at Rangers batter Adolis Garcia) and Rangers RF Garcia (fighting) and LF Umpire James Hoye ejected Astros manager Dusty Baker (arguing ejection) in the bottom of the 8th inning of the #Astros-#Rangers game. With none out and one on, Rangers batter Garcia took a first-pitch fastball from Astros pitcher Abreu for a hit-by-pitch. Replays indicate the pitch was located inside and struck Garcia in the upper left arm, the call was irrecusable. At the time of the ejections, the Rangers were leading, 4-2. The Astros ultimately won the contest, 5-4.

With none out and none on, Garcia took a first-pitch fastball from Nats pitcher Kyle Finnegan for a called first strike before striking out swinging to end the at-bat. Replays indicate the pitch ruled strike one was located over the heart of home plate and below the hollow of the knee (px -0.26, pz 1.47 [sz_bot 1.70 / RAD 1.58 / MOE 1.50]), the call was incorrect. At the time of the ejection, the Nationals were leading, 8-3. The Nationals ultimately won the contest, 8-3.
