MLB Ejection 170 - Jeff Nelson (5; Rocco Baldelli)

HP Umpire Jeff Nelson ejected Twins manager Rocco Baldelli (ball four call; QOCN) in the bottom of the 8th inning of the #Twins-#Yankees game. With two out and one on (R1), Yankees batter Brett Gardner took a 3-2 knuckle curve from Twins pitcher Tyler Duffey for a called fourth ball. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the inner half of home plate and below the upper midpoint (px 0.57, pz 3.30 [sz_top 3.32 / RAD 3.44 / MOE 3.36]), the call was incorrect.* At the time of the ejection, the Twins were leading, 5-2. The Yankees ultimately won the contest, 6-5, in 10 innings.
