HP Umpire Tony Randazzo ejected Giants manager Bob Melvin (ball three call to Gleyber Torres; QOCY) in the bottom of the 5th inning of the #Giants-#Tigers game. With none out and none on, Tigers batter Torres took a 2-1 sinker from Giants pitcher Logan Webb for a called third ball. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the heart of home plate and below the hollow beneath the knee (px -0.20, pz 1.28 [sz_bot 1.44 / RAD 1.32]), the call was correct.* At the time of the ejection, the Tigers were leading, 3-0. The Tigers ultimately won the contest, 3-1.
