MLB Ejection 044: Lance Barrett (2; BJ Upton)

HP Umpire Lance Barrett ejected Braves CF B.J. Upton for arguing a strike three call in the top of the 6th inning of the Braves-Giants game. With one out and none on, batter Upton took a 2-2 curveball from Giants pitcher Juan Gutierrez for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located off the outer edge of home plate and thigh high (px .937, pz 2.412), the call was incorrect. At the time of the ejection, the Giants were leading, 7-4. The Giants ultimately won the contest, 10-4.
