MLB Ejection 083: Seth Buckminster (4; Matt Kemp)

HP Umpire Seth Buckminster ejected Dodgers RF Matt Kemp for Unsportsmanlike-NEC (arguing a previous play's call) in the top of the 2nd inning of the Dodgers-Reds game. With one out and none on, Kemp took a 2-2 cutter from Reds pitcher Johnny Cueto for a called third strike, after which ensuing batter Andre Ethier took three pitches from Cueto for a called first ball, second ball and first strike. Replays indicate Kemp was ejected following Ethier's 2-0 pitch for arguing a previous at-bat's ruling, the call was irrecusable. At the time of the ejection, the contest was tied, 0-0. The Reds ultimately won the contest, 5-0.

This is Seth Buckminster (67)'s fourth ejection of the 2014 MLB Regular Season.
Seth Buckminster now has -2 points in the UEFL Standings (-5 Prev + 3 AAA + 0 Irrecusable = -2).
Crew Chief Jim Reynolds now has 2 points in Crew Division (1 Previous + 1 Irrecusable Call = 2).

This is the 83rd ejection of the 2014 MLB Regular Season.
This is the 37th player ejection of 2014. Prior to ejection, Kemp was 0-1 in the contest.
This is the Dodgers' 3rd ejection of 2014, 2nd in the NL West (COL 4; LAD 3; SF 2; SD 1; ARI 0).
This is Matt Kemp's first ejection since April 25, 2014 (Angel Hernandez; QOC = N [Balls/Strikes]).
