MLB Instant Replay Review 061: Adrian Johnson (01)

Instant Replay Review overturned 2B Umpire Adrian Johnson's safe call in the bottom of the 1st inning of the Brewers-Phillies game. With none out and one on, Phillies batter Jimmy Rollins hit a 0-1 fastball from Brewers pitcher Matt Garza on the ground back to Garza, who threw to shortstop Jean Segura as Phillies baserunner R1 Ben Revere arrived at second base. Upon Instant Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Brewers Manager Ron Roenicke, Johnson's ruling that Segura did not catch the ball and complete the tag on Revere was reversed, the call was incorrect. At the time of the review, the Brewers were leading, 2-0. The Brewers ultimately won the contest, 9-4.
