MLB Instant Replay Review 118: Tom Hallion (01)

Instant Replay Review confirmed 2B Umpire Tom Hallion's out-of-play no-call (ball remained in play) in the top of the 10th inning of the Braves-Mets game. With two out and none on, Braves batter Justin Upton hit a 0-0 slider from Mets pitcher Kyle Farnsworth to deep left-center field and off the wall. Upon Instant Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Mets Manager Terry Collins, Hallion's ruling that the ball did not exit and remained on the field of play was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the contest was tied, 3-3. The Mets ultimately won the contest, 4-3, in 14 innings.
